I supposed I should have something more to say than that, but I don't have much. I could report that when I woke up this morning, Chloe was on the top of the cat tree. It's been a long time since she's done that. When she saw I was awake, she came bounding down and walked all over me purring. (Translation: I want breakfast, Mommy.)
As for her vet report, her lab number is "high," which it has been, but they're increasing her medicine. It has something to do with her thyroid but the interaction between number and meds isn't clear to me. Scrawny as she seems, she has gained weight since last year and could go for a little more. Since we're a multicat household with free-feeding of dry food, it's not practical to put her on a special diet to control the thyroid (in case any of you have been reading recent articles on the topic in cat magazines and newsletters).
But sunsets. I went out to check whether my newspaper had arrived yet at about 6:20 (it hadn't), and noticed that the day's whispy clouds were consolidating and it was nearing sunset.
Just a tinge of color
The color and texture flatten. I'm afraid we're losing them.
It's building . . .
Dinner is ready. I'll stop now.
See you soon.
